Through our Educational Programs, we teach the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in the emerging healthcare delivery environment with a deliberate mix of content, activities, and case studies. We focus on three areas that are influenced by our applied research, informed by the real-world experience of the Geneia team of care management clinicians, and validated through the collaboration of The Geneia Institute and The Villanova University College of Nursing.
The focus areas for The Geneia Institute’s Educational Programs are:
Provides the foundational knowledge that all health organizations and their staffs need to build strong risk-sharing arrangements and to implement a care model that works for patients, providers, and Care Team members.
Develops the skills and knowledge to identify, target and manage high-risk populations and improve the health outcomes in Patient-Centered Medical Homes and Population Health. This expertise is a critical success factor in the post health care reform era.
Teaches Care Management and Clinical Teams to identify and evaluate risk by using specific tools and data.
